May the keys of St. Peter, the works of St. Paul, and their prayers of intercession lead us on the path to eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
Happy Feast of Peter and Paul!
poppin’   with all sorts of people, from truck drivers to tourists to townspeople!  We walked 5 hours—a good part uphill in the mountains—to reach the town popular with tourists, O’Cebreiro!   We found a room at Casa Carolo, showered and are going to find a pay washing machine, God willing!
Today we had breakfast in the café downstairs…it was really
We hung our clothes behind the Casa Rural, visited the church, and had an early supper before Mass (Sta. Maria a la Real, a Franciscan church, P.T.L.!)
For supper, we had Caldo gallego (a vegetable soup), and I had stewed beef and salad and Don had baked chicken and salad; we both had vino tinto, pan, agua and Tarta Gallega di Santiago, an almond tart.  Mass is at 7:00 p.m., we are told, Praise God!

[Mass was neat: a screen showed the common responses in several languages, and the priest spoke with people in the congregation for his homily.]
