Today, we walked around Pamplona in the rain once more!  We discovered a good tostada for breakfast:  tostada con aceite y tomate.  It is toasted baguette bread spread with pureed tomatoes and olive oil…yummy!
We toured the Cathedral of Santa María and adjoining outdoor Cloister.  The cloister was primarily Gothic, with a few Plateresque touches:  silver-plated filigree, primarily.   The Gothic arches were beautiful, between late Gothic and early Renaissance.  [The town of Nájera will have a lot more pronounced Plateresque style.]
We each had a different paella for lunch, with wine from Viana, a nearby town.

A funny thing happened this evening on the way back to our room.  Don pushed a hall button thinking he was turning on the hall light.  Instead, it was someone’s apartment buzzer.  He looked at me and said, simply, “Run!”
