This morning, we had breakfast in the café downstairs, and then walked into the ancient part of León.  We bought a second credential book for each of us at the albergue, went to the Saturday market in the Plaza Major, and did free emailing at the public library of León.  For lunch, we took advantage of a 6Ԑ “offerta.”  We bought a plate of Jamón at a café and the owner threw in a bottle of wine from León.  We added to that the bread, cheese and tomatoes we had bought (and olive oil) and had a splendid repast, Praise God! Don paid the 4Ԑ going into the cathedral, but I just waited (rested and watched T.V.) until he returned. (I hope the hand laundry we did this morning and hung in the window dries!)
We went to the frozen yogurt store and had a fruit and yogurt parfait.  We attended Sunday Mass at the Cathedral and had dinner (again!) at the albergue.
We again passed many celebrations that were ongoing, on our way back to our place.  León is really “hopping!”
