Today, after a buffet breakfast at our hotel, we walked around the
town, took more photos of the Cathedral and Plaza, met Paula and Loris, met a
British friend, visited the tourist office, and raced off to check out of the
hotel and get our bus! We learned at the
tourist office that the Sunday bus schedule was different (to Finisterre), so it became obvious we
would not make the bus! Then, we saw 2
young ladies talking to a taxi driver about Finisterre! God is good!
They agreed to share the cab, so it only took one hour, PTL! We found a reasonable hotel right near the
beach, A Langosteira , and checked
in. Then Don couldn’t find his
camera! We looked (and called) all over
to no avail, but God is good and I’m sure we’ll find it!
We walked to the Mar do fora (the most western beach) to
see where we’d go to see the sunset
at the “end of the World!” It was wild
and lovely. I spoke with a young Italian
couple and got my feet and legs wet!
Alleluia! We returned there at
sunset after an elegant fish dinner—God’s power and beauty are beyond words! Alleluia!
