Today we left
Castrojeriz after breakfast and walked 7 hours until
reaching
Frómista! It was very hot
and sunny, Praise God, but cool and pleasant walking along the canal. We found a lovely hotel (at Don’s
suggestion), Hotel San Martín, did our hand laundry, hung it up, bought fruit
for tomorrow, had dinner at our hotel, went to Mass at San Pedro’s, had a very
special—individual—pilgrim’s blessing, and walked back. We met up again with our lady Episcopalian
priest friend from California, whom we’d met in Isar. God is good! Blessed be God in His Angels and in His
Saints!
