Today, after breakfast in our Hostal, we walked for about 6 hours before arriving in Sahagún (derived from San Facundo who is buried here:  Santum Facundum).  It is the Centro Geografico del Camino, the geographic center of the Camino! Praise God!!! La Cordoniz is the hostal where we are staying.  Unfortunately, right as we started to go on our sight-seeing “tour” of the city, there was a terrible hail/rain storm, so we returned to our room!  C’est la vie!

We had dinner in the Hostal restaurant (I had merluza fish (cod), lasagna, watermelon, bread and wine!)
All afternoon, during the strong rain/hail storm, we watched Spanish westerns shot in the U.S.—too funny!

(The restaurant here is a medieval restaurant with fantastic arches.)  Our dinner partner was a lovely French lady who is also doing the Camino, Migue!  Bonne Nuit!
